Policies, Terms & Conditions
Please review all our updated policies, terms and conditions. The Management and staff may also inform you about additional rules and regulations. Please ask them if you have any questions regarding the policies. All policy updates made by the Fortius Management will be applicable to all customers and members and waivers before and after 1st March 2025.

General Rules

Fortius Management and Staff have the right to ask and check the players for their government issued ID, passes and membership details any time during their presence in the facility.

Guests MUST check-in at the Front Desk. Guests will be charged DOUBLE the daily pass fee when they are found playing without checking in. NO Exceptions

This facility is STRICTLY for playing Badminton and pickleball ONLY. No other activities will be entertained within the club premises.

Please wear proper attire to play badminton and pickle ball. Flip Flops and Thongs (Sandals) will NOT be allowed in the courts.

Unmarked Attires are allowed. Attires with BRANDS that pose a conflict of interest will NOT be allowed inside the premises. Management and staff have the right to request players to bind to this rule.

ONLY Badminton shoes are allowed inside the courts with the badminton mats. VIOLATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and WILL result in a $3000 fine for the players. Management and Staff have the right to ask the player to step out of the court, pay the fine and leave the premises if found. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Children under Age of 5 will not be allowed inside the play area. Parents will be responsible for the safety of the kids inside and around the premises.

NO FOOD and DRINKS inside the courts or any exposed area around the play area.

NO DINING inside the premises. Anyone who violates this policy will have to dispose of their food or drinks immediately and be required to leave the premises immediately without refund.

Fortius will NOT allow smoking, vaping, drinking, chewing gums, pets or weapons in the facility. Anyone found to be violating this policy will be required to leave the Fortius premises immediately without refund and may be barred from entering the Fortius premises in the future.

Loitering, misuse and destruction of any property in and around the facility will result in banishment from the facility and legal actions will be taken.

DO NOT stop your vehicle to drop off or pick up the kids / players at the front entrance, this causes traffic congestion and safety issues for pedestrians and vehicle traffic.

Please be courteous in parking your car and do not block the other cars. Cars Parked on the lot for the physically challenged should display proper tags in clearly visible locations.

Management and Staff have the right to request the customer to move the vehicle if they do NOT have proper tags.

Management & Staff has rights to check membership details, approved attire with respect to clothing, shoes etc. This applies to members or daily pass holders. This is for the benefit of the members and helps us identify the unauthorized people from using the arena. Members and Guests please cooperate when staff is requiring information.

Fortius Management may conduct local, regional, national level tournaments. Members will be informed in advance for participation. Tournament fee will be collected from the participants separately.

Fortius Management may limit the number of guests and court rental players that can use Fortius facilities at any time.

Please be courteous with other players and be considerate to their time and follow the rules of the facility.

Harassing / Arguing with the Management Employees will NOT be tolerated.

Fortius Management reserves all rights to refuse service and to revoke the membership status of any member.

Fortius Management reserves all rights to follow or adopt any rules and regulations related to security measures or of any other need with immediate effect.

Please abide by the instructions, posters and signs placed inside the Arena.

Any new policy updates made by the Fortius management will be applicable to all waivers signed before and after 1st March, 2025.
Memberships

The club offers memberships. Waivers need to be signed for the memberships. 
-
Customers will need to show government issued IDs when signing up waivers.
-
Family Membership will be considered only for immediate family members (Spouse and kids).
-
There will be registration fee collected during the first month of the membership fee.
-
Members will be responsible to update any change in any contact details or payment details.
-
Fortius Management reserves the right to vary the membership fee as in need basis. 
-
Members and Parents will be informed on changes happening to the fees, operation hours or any other activities.
Non-Members

Daily Pass: Non members or Daily pass holders who would like to play are only allowed to enter when the front office is open. Please discourage any entry besides office hours. This privilege is only for members. Members please refrain from entertaining guests during non-office hours.

If Members bring in their additional family members or guests who are not a part of the waivers(Add-ons), will also be considered as Non-Members. They should purchase daily passes to play in the premises. Members are ONLY the individuals who have signed up waivers as primary or Add-ons. If any violations are found, the non-member will be fined $100 and asked to leave the premises immediately and the member accompanying them will also be charged $100.

In case any member would like their friends/family to join for play during non-office hours, please ensure a written communication is sent to fortius@fsaatl.com.

Please receive confirmation that your request has been accepted in writing. Please keep the email so you can show it when the management and staff ask for it.
Member Identification Card

Each Member MUST show & validate their Member id card at front desk to enter the arena. NO Exceptions. DO NOT tailgate. Wrongful usage or lending your credentials to other members or guests will result in banishment from the facility and legal actions will be taken.

During the membership hold period, the access will be suspended. Trying to access the facility during this period will result in cancellation of the membership hold and result in usual monthly charges.
Court Usages

No Singles game when people are waiting to play. Please be courteous to ask for players waiting for the court to play along. Please follow the rules put up on the reservation desk.

Coaching kids who are non-members are allowed to use the badminton courts ONLY during the coaching classes. You will NEED to be a member to use the badminton courts other than your coaching sessions.

Please clear the shuttles from the court once you finish the game and leave the court clean.
-
No Member or Guest is Allowed to coach anyone, other than the designated coaches from the facility.
Rentals
​

Members and Pass holders can rent racquets and shoes from the proshop for playing. It will be Members or Pass holders responsibility to return the rental shoes and racquets after your usage. Do not leave out the rental equipment in the court. Rental charges will be applied during time of rental.
Lost and Found
-
Report any UNIDENTIFIED / UNATTENDED objects to the front desk.

Management will NOT be responsible for any lost items. 
-
Players will have to take care of their belongings. 
-
The lost and found items will be trashed every TWO WEEKS. 
Day Pass
​

Daily Pass option is valid only for the particular day(until 11.59PM) it is purchased for. When purchased, the day pass will be issued as a payment receipt. The customer is requested to hold on to the receipt or the temporary daypass id card, for that day whenever he/she is on the premises. When the customer steps out and steps in, the customer will be required to show up the daily pass purchased to the front desk personnel when asked for.

The management reserves the right to cancel the availability of Day Pass programs.
Payments and Transactions

Paying the guest fee/day pass enables the player or to use Fortius facility as a member for that day only. All membership rules and regulations will apply.

Any Fortius member who fails to pay membership dues and fees for two months will lose their membership status without receiving any refund.
-
All Fortius pro shop merchandise and services are sold “as-is” without any warranty. Strictly NO RETURN policy on the goods sold in the pro-shop.

All Annual and Monthly memberships will be auto-renewed. The Credit card used at sign-up will be used to charge recurring payments. Members will have the responsibility to inform the Fortius management for cases where their credit card in file is canceled, renewed or needs to be updated. Refund requests for membership fee or the coaching fee will be considered ONLY for the previous 2 payments made from the current date.

Any pending payments during and after cancellation will be charged to the credit card in the account.

An additional charge of $25 will be charged to the credit card for every failed payment along with the membership fee. No refunds will be given.
-
All membership payments will be on the first of every month.
-
Any refunds processed will need 10 to 15 business days to reflect back to customer accounts.
Tournaments & Camp

Students who are currently enrolled and coached in the club, will represent the club Fortius, in all national and international badminton and Pickleball tournaments.
-
Students enrolled and coached in the Fortius club are not allowed to represent any other clubs in tournaments where Fortius is a participant, unless it is discussed with the management and agreed upon by both Fortius management and the student or parent, in case of minors.

Tournament Fees or Camp fees are strictly for that event ONLY. The tournament fee or Camp fee payments do NOT contribute towards any membership plans, coaching plans or any future tournament to be conducted. NO Discounts will be applied for the tournament or any event fee collected. 
Cancellation Policy

There will be a 30 day cancellation policy for all types of memberships. The members would need to send a separate email communication requesting the cancellation mentioning the start date. For any cancellation request after the charges are posted, members will continue to own membership until the end of their paid membership month. There won’t be any partial refund. Also any pending payments will be charged during the last payment.
Membership Freeze and Suspension Policy

Membership can be kept on hold for 3 times a year for 2 months maximum. There will be a charge of $15/ month if the suspension or hold is placed on a membership. Members are required to send Fortius management an email(fortius@fsaatl.com) with a start and end date of suspension, 10 days prior to the payment date. There will be NO cancellation during the suspension or hold time period. In case you would like to cancel then Fortius management would be charging the full month membership costs for the period account is on hold. 
Personal Conduct

Fortius members, guests and court rental players (herein referred to as "players") are subject to the control and guidance of the Fortius staff, and must follow their instructions while in the indoor arena. 
-
Players agree to conduct themselves in a quiet and well-mannered fashion when in the indoor arena and not cause any disturbances or interfere with the safe use or enjoyment of the indoor arena by other players. 
-
Players shall not conduct, purchase or subscribe to any commercial business or activity on indoor arena premises or solicit other players for any reason without the indoor arena's prior written consent.

Under no circumstances shall players interfere with the indoor arena's conduct of its business. 
-
Any complaints, other than those of an emergency nature or requiring immediate attention by the Fortius staff, shall be made directly to the management in private.
Dress Code

Fortius reserves the right to deny entry to the indoor arena by any person whose attire is not considered by the Fortius staff to be appropriate in connection with the public image of the indoor arena and its rules and regulations.

No profane language or slogans on any attire is permitted in the indoor arena.

Fortius Management have the right to deny players wearing any other brands that pose a conflict of interest directly to the indoor arena.
-
Athletic shoes are required in the court area. 
-
No black sole shoes are permitted, Badminton shoes only on the badminton courts. 
-
Fortius staff reserves the right to deem appropriateness of the shoes to be allowed for play on Badminton mats or Pickleball courts. 
Violations

Guests (without daily pass or memberships), if found trespassing the premise, will be charged $100 and will be asked to leave the premise immediately. 
-
For members who are letting people tailgate and play without prior information or proper daily pass purchases, there will be a fine imposed on both parties. 
-
The club stipulates a fine of additional $100(not a part of membership fees) for members and accompanying guests (each). 
-
Multiple instances will be reported to appropriate authorities.
-
Accessing areas without proper membership, unauthorized access will be considered as trespassing
Pet Policy

Fortius has a no pet policy. The member and Guests agree NOT to bring any pets on the premises. Should an unauthorized animal be brought onto the premises, may result in a flat charge of $100.00 in addition to any cleaning charges if incurred. Exception (Service Animals): Service animals as classified by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are specifically considered separate from 'pets.' These animals are trained to assist their owners with a diagnosed disability
Medical Conditions

Players should consult with a physician before using our services and facilities. Players understand and acknowledge that Fortius Management or staff has no expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating any medical condition, including open cuts, abrasions, sprains, sores, infections, maladies or inability to maintain personal hygiene, if such a condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of players and others. Players agree to use the facility in accordance with all applicable public health requirements. It is the player's responsibility to consult with a physician to determine if any of these conditions exists and, if so, whether such conditions pose a direct threat to the health and safety of the player and others. Fortius reserves the right, regardless, to make the final determination.
Waiver and Release

Player agrees that by engaging in any physical exercise, class or activity, or by using any indoor arena equipment or facility on the premises, the player does so at his/her own risk. The player agrees that he/she is voluntarily participating in activities and use of the facility and premises (including the parking lot) and assumes all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to the player and player's property. The player agrees to release and discharge Fortius Management, all affiliates, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all claims or causes of action (known or unknown) arising out of Fortius negligence. The player acknowledges that he/she has carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understands that it is a release of liability. Player is waiving any right that he/she may have to bring a legal action to assert claim against Fortius Management for its negligence. ​
